Let us assume that your new pool is full of water and the builder has completed the contract works.
If there are any construction items concerning the pool at this stage, the problem is discussed and solved before this chemical treatment meeting.
Some new owners are naturally apprehensive about how to look after the new water showpiece.
To remove this anxiety we arrange for a professional pool filtration person to make an appointment with the owner to explain how to manage the pool.
This meeting can easily take over an hour and includes chemical knowledge, water treatment, and pool cleaning instruction and demonstrating how to operate the sterilization and filtration equipment.
This is called the handover meeting.
It is where the builder hands over the pool ownership to you and you handover the final payment to the builder.
Warranty certificates and completion documents are signed and the pool is now yours to enjoy.
Similar to a new home builder contract there is no warranty offered if any money is outstanding.
Also ownership of the equipment does not pass to the customer if any money is outstanding.
Warranty agreements vary however it is customary to agree for a pool builder to deal with any warranty issues within 28 days of formal notification to the builder.
